Philip Stephens. The Deptford Officers have sent an account of defects discovered in the Bird sloop and Grenville brig, from which it appears they will need large repairs. Propose both vessels are taken to pieces as it will be less expensive to purchase and fit two other vessels for their intended service than repair them
