Description

Philip Stephens. Lieutenant Cummings, Agent for Transports, informs us the five remaining companies of the 43rd Regiment embarked on the 19th. The Commanding Officers chose not to embark them on the 18th as they came in wet on their march from Petersfield. Everyone is now on board except the party for the 65th Regiment, who had not come and no account is received of them. Intends to sail if wind becomes fair from the East
