Philip Stephens. Captain Toby has suggested that a Purser's steward and a Cooper should be entered on the books of the Mars. She is to be brought round to lie in Ordinary, so do not see it necessary. The Queen was navigated to Plymouth without either. It may be proper for the Captain to have a Clerk to list the men lent from other ships for victualling purposes
