Philip Stephens. Captain Feattus of the Speedwell sloop has asked for a Pilot as neither he nor his Master knows the coast between Dungeness and Dunnose Point, Isle of Wight. He requests the Pilot becomes familiar with the area. We support the claim, as knowledge of the area is essential from the Downs down the English Channel, if a Trinity House Master's certificate is to be issued
