Description

Philip Stephens. Lieutenant Case of the Hector Cutter, which cruizes from Lynn to Yarmouth, reports that his 2nd Master and Pilot, does not think himself qualified to take charge of her upon that coast. He has asked to be allowed an Extra Pilot but we cannot find one qualified to undertake charge of piloting the cutter between Lynn and Yarmouth so have given directions to Lieutenant Case to discharge his present 2nd Master and to enter and bear in his room a constant Pilot, who is acquainted with the coast
