Description

Philip Stephens. Peter Girod has discovered a method for strengthening and preserving cordage and have had experiments made of rope payed with his composition at Woolwich and Deptford. It does not given the additional strength which is recommended and opine there is not much likelihood of its being of any utility to the Service
