Philip Stephens. Daniel Heagerty has petitioned against an abatement on his wages as Carpenter of the Foudroyant because of a note of hand given by him to Robert Thompson for money belonging to him stolen out of his chest. He has taken up the note and asks for the money to be repaid him. The money was abated by Admiralty order to satisfy the owner of the note, when he applies for it and he has since paid the note so opine the sum abated should be repaid
