Description

Philip Stephens. The Attorneys to the Executor of the late Captain Hicks have applied for dispensation for the want of some of the books and papers for passing his accounts for the Goree sloop. He commanded the sloop from August 1759 to October 1762, the day he died. He has delivered muster books and slop book for this time and passed his accounts at the Victualling and Ordnance Offices and there is no imprest against him. Opine the want of the accounts may be dispensed with
