Description

Philip Stephens. Have received certificates from Captain Charles Saxton of the Pearl that Denis DeVitry, Pilot Extra, was entered in April 1764 by Admiralty order and served until 22nd April without performing any other Service than carrying the ship into Aubert Harbour in the Magdalane Islands and attending on board. Ask for directions whether he is to be paid as pilot for the whole time he continued in her
