Philip Stephens. Elias Tuckett, Attorney to the father of Edward Evans, late Boatswain of the Port Antonio sloop and Hussar, has applied for dispensation for his accounts. He is borne on the Port Antonio from June 1760 to February 1761 for which time the Captains have passed their accounts. He is borne as Boatswain of the Hussar from February 1761 to May 1762, the day she was lost and the want of the Officers' accounts were dispensed with. It is usual to require an affidavit that he neither sold or embezzled stores which cannot now be procured so opine dispensation may be granted on the father making oath that the books and papers never came to hand
