Philip Stephens. Robert Howe, Purser of the Southampton, was not entered for that ship from the date of his Warrant, as his accounts for the Venus were not passed. He asks to be entered from that time as he did the duty himself or by deputy and supplied the ship with necessaries for the whole time. Opine in case he did the Duty of Purser of the Southampton from October 1763 and the ship was properly supplied till he took charge o her as Purser by virtue of his warrant, he may be entered for her from that date as requested
