Description

Philip Stephens. Commissioner Hanway informs us that when he ordered Mr. Benningall, Boatswain of the Newark with Extra men to clean the Winchester and Grafton, a stream cable and old iron was found in the launch, which has been embezzled. Cannot find the culprit but thinks Mr. Benningall was aware of it. Suggest an example is made to deter others and ask if Mr. Benningall should be superceded
