Description

Philip Stephens. Mr. Ibbetson, Deputy Consul at Lisbon, informs us that the Prince George transport with part of the troops of the 77th Regiment had been wrecked upon the Island of Fayal. Captain John Sinclair of that Regiment has asked for a ship to bring the men to Portsmouth. He had agreed for the Rebecca, Patrick Dennis, Master, which only lacks a wind to proceed.
