Philip Stephens. Charles Smith has applied to be paid for the time he acted as Boatswain of the Repulse. How Charles Long, Thomas Sturges and Samuel Smith stand on the books. Opine that Charles Long, the proper Boatswain, should be discharged from the time to which he has been paid in July 1760, that Samuel Sturges should be entered and borne from Long's discharge to Smith's entry and that Smith should be borne for wages and victuals for the time he acted as Boatswain, October 1761 to January 1762.
