Description

John Clevland. The cargo of a Danish vessel, arrived at the Nore with stores for Cadiz, is to be inspected. Have ordered the Sheerness Officers to purchase any part of the stores which could be used by the enemy in ship building. They report none are fit for purchase as it appears to be a racked cargo of bad ordinary deals, half deals and paling boards, Prussia deals and baulks. Ask for directions
