Description

John Clevland. Walter Taylor and Son, Blockmakers, have petitioned they have found a method of making ships' blocks, pins and shivers, by engines. They ask for a set or two of them to be made for trial in a Yard. A pattern of blocks shivers and pins made by his method has been considered and they look no different from those in use. Propose a trial is made
