John Clevland. Lieutenant Morris of the Sandwich, was ordered by Sir Edward Hawke, when Lieutenant of the Resolution, to exchange for duty into the Sandwich, where he continued until April 1760 when he was appointed 1st Lieutenant on that ship. He has asked to be paid his own and his servant's wages from November 1759 when the Resolution was cast away until the Court Martial to enquire into her loss, when he and his servants were born as supernumeraries on the books of the Sandwich. Opine he may be paid as one of the Lieutenants of the Resolution from July 1759 to the end of November and ask if he should be paid by bill from that time to April 1760
