Description

John Clevland. Captain Lockhart was removed by Sir Edward Hawke from the Chatham to the Royal George and has asked to be paid the difference of pay between those two ships to this month when he was appointed to command the Bedford. As Captain Campbell is borne for the time Captain Lockhart commanded her he will be paid by book. Captain Lockhart can only be paid by bill as Commander of the ship
