John Clevland. Captain Campbell, late of the Bellona,informs us that a stop has been put on his accounts because men from other ships were put on her by order of Rear Admiral Chambers, when he was not able to deliver them to their proper ships, so they stayed on the Bellona until she was put out of commission. As her records state that several men from different ships are on a separate list for pay and victuals on the orders of the Admiral, dispensation can be given
