Description

John Clevland. Dan Devert reports that money was impressed to Naval Captains in the last peace only to fit out Squadrons for the British Mediterranean Fleet. In time of peace, imprests have been objected to, and if Captains incurred any unusual expenditure, it could be reimbursed only by Admiralty orders.
