The Plymouth Officers to the Board. All the accusations made against Hood have been impossible to prove, partly because of lack of evidence and partly due to the lapse of time, which would have changed the state of the ship. Robert Courtney had a private rope walk at Plymouth to which some of the crew brought some cable to be reworked, which supports one of Hood's statements.
