Thomas Corbett. Commissioner Vanbrugh writes to ask that, as the King's proclamation declares that hostilities in the Channel ceased with effect from 1st May, ask whether it is in order for the Henrietta storeship to sail without convoy from Plymouth to Deptford, and whether the storeships Supply Hoy, Portsmouth and Plymouth, with loads of plank for Portsmouth, can do the same. Asks for a ruling whether the Pilots on Naval vessels off the coast of France, who end their voyages, can be paid 5s. a day and subsistence, when unemployed. Ask for directions
