Description

Deptford Officers to the Board. In January they stated the Hazard would be ready in 20 days but a number of events prevented their meeting the date, including unavoidable delays in replacing her sails. The Wilmington and the Princess Royal had need of the sails and, by agreement with Captain Grant, the Hazard's main and foretop masts were shortened.
