Description

Thomas Corbett. The Deptford Officers have found two ships, one French, the other plantation built, to serve as armed vessels to replace the York and the John and Ann. They await a survey on the French ship but the other failed to attend to negotiate. Richard Gildart offered two ships at Liverpool which have been employed as privateers, provided their owners agree terms
