Thomas Corbett. Lieutenant Soanes of the Convenor armed vessel, has sent an account of the defects of his vessel to Admiral Byng. Mr. Soanes was ordered to bring her to the Thames to be paid off and discharged from the Service. Are astonished at the reports of the Convenor's condition which conflict with a report from Deptford Yard and have ordered a survey of the ship when she reaches the Thames
