Folio 12: 20 July 1828; examined the prisoners health, their gum also underwent minute inspection, some few convicts have a bluishness and a certain degree of spongings of the gums, but those of the rest of the prisoners are in good condition.

Folio 12: 21 July 1828; several prisoners, having eaten of fish cought a day previously, were taken with vertigo, headache, flushing of the face, suffusion of eyes, general weakness, tremor and more or less nausea. An emetic soon removed these untowards symptoms.
