1890 Aug 25
His leave: states that he certainly understands that he is not at liberty to be absent from Nassau whenever there is no business to be disposed of in the Supreme Court. He believes, however, that he may take leave during the official vacations of the Court and believes that as an official 'entrusted with the high functions of a Chief Justice' he should be allowed a period of 'absolute relaxation'. From Roger D Yelverton, folios 837-841
