Description

Folio 208. An anonymous 'Swing Letter' sent to Mr Hodges, from [H--- Street], Hotel de France. The letter warns the author writes as one of 3,000 who mean to pull down the house of the gentlemen to whom they write. There is also a comment about shooting 50 special constables. [Much of the letter is illegible].
