Lords of the Admiralty to Dartmouth: they have been instructed not to molest Venetian ships, but wish to know what action to take if such ships are carrying enemy goods or contraband. Dated 20 November 1710 at Admiralty Office.
Sir Charles Hedges [?to Burchett]: he finds the new French complaint so general he can make nothing of it, and invites the lords of the Admiralty to find out the two Bristol frigates that are said to have taken and ransomed the Phoenix of Honfleur. Dated 20 November 1710.
