Description

Lords of the Admiralty to Dartmouth, enquiring what pay the marquess of Carmarthen should receive while unemployed at sea. Dated at Admiralty Office.

Subscript dated 10 November 1710 by Dartmouth that the queen has referred the letter to the lords of the Treasury. Dated at Whitehall.

Navy Board [?to Burchett] on the method of paying the marquess of Carmarthen while unemployed at sea. Dated 6 November 1710 at Navy Office.

Sir Charles Hedges to lords of the admiralty [possibly Navy Board] confirming payment of pension and pay to the marquess of Carmarthen. Dated 29 June 1703 at Admiralty Office.

John Povey [to lords of the Admiralty]: order in council dated 18 February 1709 cancelling commissions to flag officers entitling them to pay of posts in which they never served. Dated at St James's.
