Folios 129-130. Letter from Augustin Creuze, from the dockyard at Portsmouth, [Hampshire], submitting a precaution in times of 'popular excitement and violence'. He suggests that the a circular should be sent round addressed to all gunsmiths, and others selling fire-arms in the metropolis or disturbance districts, advising them to keep the locks of the firearms separate to the guns rendering them useless and discouraging attacks on these establishments. He makes the same suggestion for government and military strongholds.
