Reports that a notice was published in the Gazette in September 1910, in accordance with Colonial Office instructions, warning Bermudians and British West Indian subjects intending to reside abroad that they should provide themselves with evidence of British nationality, such as a passport, a birth certificate, or a certificate of British nationality. States that so far no applications for certificates of British nationality have been received from intending emigrants, but confirms that he will issue instructions in accordance with more recent correspondence.
