Reports on the Legislature's decisions regarding the ratification of the Canada-West India trade agreement. Remarks that the balance of opinion was against the agreement. Comments that it would be better to wait, rather than to attempt to hasten a decision that would at present be unfavourable. Encloses a report by a joint committee of the Legislative Council and a letter from the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce. [Printed for use of the Colonial Office, West Indian No 204, CO 884/13/2.]
