Estimates 1899: hurricane repairs. Explains why no provision was made in the Estimates for repairs to be carried out at the expense of the Imperial grant of £40,000. States that the grant and expenditure will appear in the Auditor General's report of the Revenue and Expenditure of the Colony for 1899 and that the Supplementary Appropriation Act 1899 will also contain the appropriation of the grant.
