This series contains the surviving documents from the Midland region pertaining to National Service registration. It includes registration documents and statistics, and documents relating to conscientious objectors, deferment of service, medical grading, and the special treatment of particular categories of workers, principally coal miners. A copy of the Codes of Instructions is also included.
