Application of Charles Leonard Ridley for transfer to the Surveyor General's Department, Jamaica: transmits a copy of Mr Ridley's application and petition to the Governor; states circumstances of Mr Ridley's leave in Jamaica and reluctance to extend his leave; expresses the wish that he be permanently transferred to Jamaica. Includes copies of application and correspondence forwarded directly to the Secretary of State for the Colonies by Mr Ridley; with cutting from The Gleaner, April 21, 1920, on the need for experienced surveyors in Jamaica.
