Stann Creek Valley: forwards report by Agricultural Advisor W R Dunlop, with observations, and comments that local funds are unlikely to be available unless money locked in the Riversdale Estate can be released; reports that United Fruit Company have agreed to increase prices paid for bananas; funds have been secured for a rice milling machine in the hope of increasing production in the district; speculates that the United Fruit Company will cease banana production in the district and lose interest in the railway, though they may continue to send ships for a guaranteed minimum number of bunches.
