Stann Creek Railway: forwards letter from Mr H Blin Stoyle, Acting Superintendent of the railway, requesting the Governor to approach the United Fruit Company to propose raising the amount they pay for freight of bananas, or to charge an export tax; the Governor comments he would be unwilling to take either course and he anticipates further guidance from the Secretary of State on the terms of the agreement with the United Fruit Company; includes copy of a letter dated 11 February 1920 to the President of the United Fruit Company regarding the financial position of the Riversdale Estate and pleading for a greater increase in the price paid for bananas.
