Harrington to Prince Frederic of Hesse: the king has ordered Dunmore to embark the 6,000 Hessians for Scotland. The king has instructed Harrington to inform the prince, and does not doubt his cooperation. He has also learnt that there is a certain number of hussars under the prince's command, and wishes for them to be embarked too. An officer will be sent to Willemstad to conduct them. If the invasion has taken place, they will be sent to the Thames. If the prince decides to accompany them a yacht or warship will transport him. Dated (OS) at Whitehall. ff. 284, 285
