Description

Königsegg to Harrington: as the troops have gone into winter quarters, he intends to depart for Vienna in two or three days. His gratitude to the king. For the next campaign it will be necessary to have superior forces and to attack the French at the outset; without this the [Austrian] Netherlands will be lost. He is leaving the command to Chanclos, who is prudent and experienced. Dated at Brussels. ff. 240, 241
