HO 52/6/66
1830 Nov 30
Folios 137A-137B. Memorial/petition from Messrs Banington, E Bon----, Throckmorton, Peyse, Willes, Berens, Robert Szmonds [Robert Symonds], William Bennett and Cheaver], Berkshire magistrates, Farringdon. They ask if the special commission [to try those committed for the recent riots] could be extended to Abingdon rather than Reading, as those from the Vale of Berkshire would then be able to attend the sessions and then return home at night. Leaving their property over night would leave it in danger.
