Folio 573. Letter from John Harrop, Clerk to the Guardians of the Manchester Union to the Poor Law Commissioners advising that the Board of Guardians had accepted the resignation the Reverend W B Flower as Chaplin of the Moral and Industrial Training Schools Swinton, with three months notice from 29 September. Further stating that the Board would write to the Commission concerning proposed modifications in the arrangements at Swinton following the resignations of Mr Parker and Reverend W B Flower. Annotation of AA [Alfred Austin, Assistant Commissioner] requesting that he is informed as soon as possible of proposed arrangements at the schools.
