Draft letter from the Poor Law Commissioners to John Harrop, Clerk to the Guardians of the Manchester Union acknowledging receipt of a letter 30 July concerning the resignation of Mr and Mrs Parker and advising that their resignations took effect from Michaelmas next and that subsequently they were entitled under Article 72 of the General Workhouse Rules to salary and lodging up to that date.
