Crime: Disobeying a superior officer.
Verdict: Guilty.
Sentence: 11 lashes at three ships, dismissed from his employment and rendered incapable of serving as an officer.

Crime: Buggery.
Verdict: Acquitted, but guilty of corruption.
Sentence: 39 lashes and towed on shore.
