Folio 220. Typed extract from the Medical Officer of Health's [Charles Wills] report for 1894 stating that building byelaws should be asked for in Bleasley, Lowdham, Southwell, Kelham, Ollerton and Edwinstowe where building work is going on, and for other places where building is likely due to the new railway. He finds buildings have been constructed very badly often with no plans. He also mentions houses are being built on low lying land with bad drainage.
Annotated that if byelaws for new buildings are under consideration the medical officers remarks about low lying land should be noted.
