Draft letter from W E Knollys, Assistant Secretary to the Local Government Board, to John Kirkland, Clerk to the Southwell Rural District Council, acknowledging their letter of 17 May 1895 indicating that the Rural District Council do not think it advisable to again combine with Worksop Rural District Council and Mansfield Urban District Council in a joint appointment for a medical officer of health. The Board enquires the reason for this decision.
