Folios 190-191. Letter from William Wright, Chairman of Southwell Rural District Council, of Fiskerton Manor, [and chairman of the parish council] to the Local Government Board, stating that he has not received a reply to his letter of 14 January 1895 about who is eligible for allotments, and are they to be charged. The parish council have received 5 applications for allotments, and will probably get more. He gives names, areas of lands already occupied or owned, and area requested.
He wants to know where to draw the line. Some already occupy or own between 4 and 20 acres. He was under the impression that only those with no land could be given an allotment.
Annotations to reply using precedent such as a case in Bradford.
