Folio 182. Letter from John Kirkland, Clerk to the Southwell Rural Sanitary Authority of the Southwell Union, to the Local Government Board, acknowledging letter of 30 October 1894 regarding drainage, scavenging and water supply of Lowdham. The Rural Sanitary Authority at their last meeting resolved to defer the matter until the Parish Councils Act 1894 comes into force and the new Rural District Council take over the duties of the Rural Sanitary Authority.
