Folio 178. Letter from John Kirkland, Clerk to the Southwell Rural Sanitary Authority of the Southwell Union, to the Local Government Board, acknowledging letter of 9 October 1894 which enclosed a copy of a letter from F W Adamson of Epperstone. The letters were read to the Rural Sanitary Authority but the Authority give their reasons for postponing the matter until the Local Government Act 1894 comes into operation, as the authority could not see its way to embark on a scheme it could not carry through.
Annotated: Send copy to Mr Adamson and reserve 3 months.
