Description

Complaint of the Wesleyan Missionary Society respecting the conduct of the magistrates in suppressing the meeting at Mrs Ann Gill's residence. With report of investigation of the Privy Council, including witness statements, acquitting the magistrates of all blame, and the opinion of the Law Officers that divine worship cannot be celebrated in private houses.
